President Muhammadu Buhari says the Treasury Single Account approach has begun yielding results.
He said this while responding to questions at a meeting with individuals from the Nigerian Community in Saudi Arabia at the Nigerian House in Riyadh on Tuesday evening.
He declared that his organization had presented various arrangements and projects went for sparing the country's economy from breakdown.
Buhari refered to the TSA and the Zero-based Budget as a portion of the significant budgetary approaches that was checking extortion in the framework, saying it had begun yielding productive results.
As indicated by him, "the country has so far acknowledged over N2.6 trillion" from the recently presented TSA.
He, accordingly, communicated confidence that with the presentation of the single record, the 2016 spending execution won't not record any type of shortfall toward the end of the budgetary year.
